General Ledger (Base System)
The General Ledger forms the centre of the accounting procedures. It is through the General Ledger that the management reporting is performed, providing the necessary information to make those important decisions regarding your companies activities.

- Up to 10 character alpha/numeric general ledger codes.
- Maintains figures and quantities for the current year and the previous year, budget figures for this year and next year and amounts posted through the Cash Book.
- Ability to design your own reports using Natsoft's own powerful report generator.
- General Ledger postings can be posted to any period within the year.
- Postings are checked by the system to ensure the ledger always balances.
- A cash journal facility is provided where the Cash Book System is not in use.
- The system allows posting for up to four periods into the next financial year before closing off the previous year allowing you time to work on those important end of year adjustments.
Depreciation Schedule/Asset Register
The depreciation schedule is a package that is included with the General Ledger package.
Features Include
- Up to 4 character alpha/numeric plant code.
- Supports prime cost and diminishing value methods of depreciation. Facility has also been made for the special depreciation method applicable to primary producers.
- Provision has been made to store tax depreciation as well as internal depreciation rates.
- Automatic calculation of depreciation to the specified day.
