Stock Control (Base System)
The stock control system helps to avoid the prevailing problem of over and under stocking. Control of your stock can be the most critical partof running your business, while also being the most time consuming. Save time and money control your stock the right way. - Can be fully integrated with debtors, creditors, order entry and job costing.
- Alpha/numeric stock code of variable length from 5 to 20 characters.
- A four character alpha/numeric stock category or group code can be entered to group stock for reporting purposes. This group code can be split to provide sub groups if required.
- Facilities built in for serialized stock.
- Supports weighted average, first in first out, last cost and standard stock costing methods.
- Non-stock items can be flagged as overhead items to retain sales history without maintaining quantities. This is also useful if you wish to use the stock control system as a sales history rather than a control system.
- A 5 character unit of measure can be entered on each stock item to print on invoices if required. Also 2 alternative units of measure can be set up e.g. you may have some sheet metal in stock at square metres, your first alternative unit could be kilograms and the computer will automatically calculate this, or you could set an item up to be stored as each, dozen and carton.
- Up to three different bar codes can be entered for each stock item, a separate bar code can be allocated to each unit of measure if required.
- Selling prices can be updated by supplier or stock group or a combination of both.
- DSD (dires\ct store delivery), EDI (electronic data interchange) enables real-time inventory information. Warnings are generated for cost price changes.
- Hand held routines are available for ordering, DSD and stocktake, all on one handheld machine.
- Assembles raw materials for sale as a finished product, taking all sub-assembly items out of stock.
- Keeps full movement detail by item for 12 months.
- Barcode printing is available.
- Supports up to 30 stock locations.
